GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a global player in the energy industry and the industrial solutions business, seeks an experienced and competent Client Engagement and Implementation Manager in Asia. The role covers the full project life cycle from facilitating software development (through the design team) and sales to engaging with clients in enabling and ensuring successful implementation. This is an opportunity to join a market leader in delivering world class Coal Fired Power Plant projects within the region!

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
You would have strong leadership skills and project experience in the power generation industry; namely coal fired power plants. You would have experience with OEM technologies within power plants. You will have significant Coal Fired Power Plant operations and plant design exposure (though detailed design experience is not required for this role). You are one to thrive in customer relations; effectively engaging with them in adopting the software that is being implemented. You would have the ability to convey complex issues in simple terms.
You would ideally hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or an MBA. A Six Sigma Blackbelt or equivalent would be an advantage. You must have experience with projects within Asia and based here currently. You will travel on the job often and you will spend a considerable amount of time regionally on projects. Strong communication skills are critical for this role.
You will be the implementation lead on projects regionally and responsible for ensuring client engagement in adopting the product that is being implemented. This includes being involved in coaching and process re-engineering, driving software utilization within client organisations. You will support technology or software development efforts with your years of experience in the field of Power Generation. You will provide regular customer feedback to the sales and marketing teams and work with them to drive the sales of the software. You will lend your expertise in looking at areas for the business to improve on or expand upon (example- new software or technology).
