We are an International  Marine Construction Company is looking for suitable candidates to fill position:  Logistic Executive

Job Purpose:
  • Manage and supervise the Logistic and Transport Division under the Logistic and Technical Support Department to coordinate all matter regarding to Vehicle and equipment
  • Handle and resolve all issue pertaining to insurance, inspection, registration, expiry, car-park, CEO, Fines, Name-Transfer, buying and selling of Vehicles and equipment, Rental and return of all equipment. Coordinate all small equipment and availabilities. Coordinates and make all transportation arrangement.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
 
Logistic Work
  • Supervise and coordinates the rental, returns, movement, availabilities and schedule of all equipment i.e. CEO, taxes and fines of company vehicles to ensure the equipment are available when required
  • Ensure the equipment are well maintained and all their other issue are well maintained
  • Supervise the function of Logistic and Transportation group to ensure the functionality of the group
  • Attend “Weekly Logistic Meeting” as a Section Head of the Logistics and Transportation Group discuss work related issue, to formulate and derive action plan to resolve problems
  • Review and make recommendation to Management on staff capabilities, company’s resources and the methodology of work to achieve greater effectiveness and efficiency of staff and resources
Safety Commitments
  • Assist the Logistics Superintendent to Vice-Chair the Gul Safety Committee to increase safety awareness and commitment in workers and staff
  • Assist the Logistics Superintendent to Vice-Chair the equipment logbook audit committee to increase safety awareness and commitment in worker and staff
  • Negotiate with site vendor on price, quality and delivery schedule
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Diploma Degree
  • Class 3 Driving License
  • Lifting Supervisors Course
  • Minimum 2 year (s) experience and supervisory level
  • Understand ISO and OSHA Safety, Quality and Environment Standard procedure
  • Knowledge of common construction equipment and machineries
  • Knowledge of wide variety of equipment, good planning skill and wide contract of suppliers
  • Strong adaptability, leader skill, organization ability
  • Exercise independent judgment
  • Good interpersonal communication skill, humble, cheerful and hardworking
  • Computer literacy (minimum Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Good written and verbal communications ability in English and Indonesia
  • Willing to learn and teach 
  • Willing to travel/relocate to other state and country
