Location: Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung & Yogyakarta

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and contact potential hotel suppliers on your assigned market / area;
  • Ensure room availability and pricing competitiveness;
  • Facilitate communication between both new partners and existing partners;
  • Participate in market research as required;
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills;
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships;
  • Handle escalated hotel-related problems / issues and work with the different functions of company to solve the problem or address the issue in a timely manner;
  • Develop a strong network and relationships within the local market in order to leverage appropriate market influencers (e.g. congress and tourism bureau, hotel association, etc.) and act as key contact point for Hotels Partner to maintain relationship;
  • Coordinate with other company teams’ member and functional areas to create and implement innovative business solutions aimed at building a strong market presence, merchandising, and attractive value propositions.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and proposal;
  • Manage all supplier data in distribution systems;
  • Manage seasonal rate renewals;
  • Provide training of distribution systems for suppliers;
  • Regular update on supplier relationship;
  • Manage weekly and monthly supplier and internal reports.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Positive work ethic and passion to engage with our online ticketing & booking website and business partners;
  • Excellent communication and networking skills;
  • Good project management skills;
  • A good knowledge of Ms Office;
  • Good relationship management skills and a good team player;
  • Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts;
  • Aggressive to achieve high targets – results-oriented;
  • Passion in e-commerce / online - independent thinking / ability and willingness to stretch.
  • Bachelor degree level or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in a relevant account management function;
  • Quick and resourceful, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail;
  • Great face-to-face and telephone communication skills;
  • Team player, motivated and enjoys to work in e-travel and hospitality;
  • Business focused;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Hotel School or University background preferred;
  • Driver’s license;
  • Availability to travel 50% of the time;
  • Affinity/experience with the hotel industry / e-travel;
  • Education in Tourism related field is an advantage, but not a must.
