Leading a team and having a business builder mentality, your main responsibilities are to develop and manage b2b projects (exhibitions and conferences) covering sales, channel development, marketing, exhibitor, delegate / visitor acquisition, content programme and operations. These include acquiring resources and working with the partners, community, stakeholders and supporting departments for the success of the projects i.e. delivering high quality events and financial returns. You will handle project sales, define the project's growth objectives throughout its life cycle and be responsible for the project's financial returns and sustainable growth in various geographical markets. You will work closely with the Project Director to ensure that the project/s strategy, goals and deliverable are aligned with the overall company strategy and support business goals. You will also build, develop and grow new businesses for your cluster of projects and develop the talents within your team to scale the business over the mid-term.
-Degree holder from a reputable university
-Minimum 5-8 years of experience, preferably in the MICE industry
-Possessing a strong enterprising trait and a goal-getter
-Prior experience in the exhibition and conference industry is preferable
-Strong sales background is essential
-Excellent written and spoken communication skills in fluent English
-Demonstrate strong leadership skills
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
-Able to travel overseas, when required
