Job Descriptions:

  • Warmly and graciously greets all customers upon arrival and offer appropriate seating arrangements
  • Present menus, explain the menus as well as the on-going promotions
  • When possible, opens the front door for customers entering or leaving the restaurant
  • When immediate seating is limited, record customer’s names and number of people in party (waiting list)
  • Contacts customer when tables become available
  • Provides customer with estimated waiting time
  • Accommodates special seating requests for customer whenever possible
  • Seats customers based on their preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
  • Not to assign many tables to one section at the same time
  • Maintains crowd control (especially when it rains)
  • Inspects table for proper presentation and completeness
  • Relays messages to servers and bus-staffs as needed
  • Thanks customer as he / she leaves the restaurant and invites them to return back soon
  • Makes sure all menus are clean, tidy and sufficient to cater to the number of customers
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain clean and organized tables and work area
  • Handling all incoming and outgoing emails and telephone calls of the restaurant
  • Manage all reservation in the restaurant
  • Handling all group reservations / events
  • Successfully promote and publicize the brand
  • Convey accurate information on restaurant promotions and ongoing or upcoming event
  • Makes sure enough restaurant business card is available on daily basis
  • Handling adhoc task given by the management


  • Female
  • Maximum age 28 years old
  • Experienced in the field at least 1 years and above
  • Good communication skill to internal and external customers
  • Must be on feet for most of the working hours and able to adapt to a fast pace environment
  • Accountable and resilient
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in handling administration and paperwork
  • Willing to work on weekends, public holiday and overtime
  • Pleasant personality, neat and presentable at all times
