Freight Specialist Officer



    • Prepare documentation, bill of ladings, Export & Import Declaration
    • Monitor daily freight operation
    • Communication liaison between custom broker, agent, importer, etc
    • Cargo track and trace as necessary to insure proper movement & delivery
    • Complete files with proper and correct billing information
    • Communicate with customers regarding disposition or freight (tracking & tracing, routing & dispatching, rate quotations, etc)
    • Communicate with vendor / suppliers regarding shipment status dispatch
    • Provide monthly freight report
    • Align with YCH RISE program
    • Perform other job related duties as and when requested by superior.
    • Min Diploma or Bachelor Degree
    • Having minimum 3 – 4 years related experience
    • Strong knowledge in electronic, chemical, and food import regulation is advantaged
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively (verbally & intuitively) with both customers & vendors
    • The ability to work in fast paced environment
    • Able to work with time pressure
    • English proficiency
    • Good in Ms Office, internet, and emails
    • Have a freight certification is preferable
