Assistant Accounting Manager Job (Consumer Goods), Jakarta, Indonesia



    Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies. Our respected client is seeking a professional with at least 2 years’ experience, preferably in the FMCG industry, for the job of Assistant Accounting Manager, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The winning candidate must have a hard-working attitude and are motivated, and will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
    Key job responsibilities include:
    • Review the monthly accounting package
    • Complete transactions with foreign affiliates
    • Analyse accounts and prepare journal entries
    • Perform bank reconciliations, perform monthly financial statement consolidations, and prepare account reconciliations, high level analysis and other related special projects
    • Ensuring the accuracy and coordination of all worksheets that are prepared for the organization
    • Accounts receivable and collection issues
    • Documenting all accounting procedures and participation in revising and updating the General Ledger
    • Posting sales transactions and payments
    • Month-end close and other tasks
    Job Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business major
    • At least 2 years’ experience preferably in the FMCG industry
    • Good reconciliation skills
    • Proficient in MS Windows, Excel, Word, etc.
    • Good in General Ledger
    • Good oral and written English
    • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
    • Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
    • Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolve
    • Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibility under general and little supervision
