PT. BALI TOWERINDO SENTRA (BALITOWER) engaged in the business of tower leasing in Bali. Its core business is leasing antenna space on self-owned multi-tenant Base Transceiver Station (BTS) towers primarily to mobile cellular operators.
In 2007, BALITOWER has been awarded an operational license for 20 years by the regional government of Badung and Tabanan municipality in Bali province. The license will allow BALITOWER to be the only tower provider to operate in Badung and Tabanan regency which include tourist’ most favorite landscapes and beaches in Bali such as Kuta. Legian, Seminyak, Nusa Dua and Jimbaran. BALITOWER has spotted a dimensions of investing opportunity not only from the attractiveness of Bali island but also is has captured the opportunity in the growth of telecommunication industry perspective.
Presently, BALITOWER operates its business according to recent awarded license as the only multi-tenant BTS tower provider in Badung regency. Such position also has been strengthened by regional regulation (“Peraturan Daerah”) to support BALITOWER’s operations. Under the current regulation all towers must be multi-tenants. Strategically, BALITOWER might take over the operation of the reconstructed BTS towers.
