Junior Strategic Buyer - Senior Officer



    1. To examine and analyzes all Purchase Request submitted through Purchasing Sharepoint system based on the related category segmentation, such as the completeness and accuracy of information; contacts the related department or PIC to clarify or complete information; determines method to process requests based on the timeliness required & quantity.
    2. To identified and selects vendor to procure the requests goods/services which meet the criteria such as price, quantity, quality, delivery date, term of payment, places orders and all related tax implications.
    3. To prepare and conduct all tender specification needed, such as issues the tender invitation letter, review Request for Proposal (RFP), conduct a tender, prepare the standard format of tender’s quotation and review the quotations by preparing the comparison sheet/price analysis and all administrative documents needed.
    4. To monitors and obtains best price for all company’s expenditures.
    5. To monitor and supervise Buyers in regular report, that are:
    a. Weekly Report, for SLT Meeting
    • PR/PO Performance
    • TAT Report
    • PR Outstanding, Split PR & PO Backdated Report
    • Buyers Feedback Report
    • Irregular Procurement Report
    • Exemption & Variation Report
    • LOI/Contract that will be expired in next 3 & 6 month
    b. Quarterly Report for Procurement Committee Meeting
    6. To give input/correction, implement and follow all the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for all purchasing related functions.
    Job Requirements:
    • Bachelor Degree
    • With 3 years relevant experience
    • Able to work with minimum supervision and Leadership
    • Able to work with multiple tasking, proactive and initiative
    • Skill in preparing and analyzing complex technical specifications and tender
    • Skill in both verbal and written communication
    • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship
    • Mature, positive attitude and self confident
    • Must have excellent interpersonal and negotiation
    • Basic knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures
    • Good in Microsoft Office Program, especially Excel
