This role will manage a large, cross-organisational marketing programs chartered to deliver a strategic initiative for Dell commercial business. The marketing manager will work with the team to define priorities, resources and budget allocated to the marketing programs. He/She will define scope and resources criteria, plan schedules, drive work efforts and monitor marketing programs from inception through delivery. He/ She will develop and manage communications with cross-functional team members and senior management in product marketing, sales, services, support and finance and may engage or oversee the work for external vendors.

The optimal candidate has the ability to handle multiple work streams along with interdependencies across work streams and able to connect the dots as to identify a more efficient way to achieve stated outcomes. The person is the “go-to-person” who will quarterback this strategic initiative with the ability to identify new goals/outcomes and ascertain approaches and dependencies based on ongoing pulse/dynamic of the marketing programs. Exhibits the ability to think out of the box and under pressure and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description
The commercial marketing manager is responsible for developing, executing and measuring marketing plans and lead generation programs for both end-users and channel – ready products with Dell’s customers and partners in Indonesia.
This includes all aspects of joint program participation, direct marketing and awareness campaigns, partners’ seminars and events, promotions and follow up on all activities partners.
The commercial marketing manager (CCM) will also work with the regional program team to define requirements for sales tools, end-users and partner communications and partner trainings. Continuously deliver ROI reporting metrics on all executed activities business plan, manage and lead flow within and provide marketing reviews on a regular basis. This person will work closely with the sales teams and all supporting functions to drive company initiatives. This position reports to the MSIP marketing manager.

Major responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual marketing and demand creation/ promotional plan
  • Manage marketing budget and expenses including forecast accuracy
  • Lead new product launch efforts in channel including collateral, communication strategy, merchandising procurement, training tools and related activities
  • Monitor merchandising efforts at retail and conduct pre and post launch analysis to drive improvement
  • Align marketing communications strategies with brand strategies
  • Work closely with corporate marketing to ensure balanced marketing effort
  • Expand and grow customer level marketing relationships
  • Track market and channel trends and adjust channel strategies accordingly
  • Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI
  • Coordinate training for sales team for disti and partners
  • Work closely with product marketing managers to support ongoing priorities, including product presentations, trade shows, research and competitive intelligence
  • Monitor and analyze competitive activities within channel including price, promotion, new product and merchandising
  • Analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/ decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes
In order to be considered, you must possess below requirement:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marketing in an MNC environment
  • At least Bachelor degree from a recognized university
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with cross functional teams
