Position Summary :
Initiate and develop the sales opportunities as per described target set by the Department Manager Food together with Branch Manager Medan. His/hers focus will be to develop Food Dept products, with extra effort needed on Muntons Malt Products. Key focus is to open market for Food Dept in Medan area initially and moving forward moving to other key area of Sumatra Market such as West Sumatra, South Sumarta, and Riau/Batam.
- Achieve the sales targets as set by the Branch Manager and constantly maintain a high standard of customer service by active canvassing and cooperation with the total department team.
- Present, demonstrate as applicable, the products and services to the customers by frequent and planned visits: by personal visits or accompanied by superiors and principals’ representatives as required.
- Prepare quotations and proposal or cause quotations and proposals to be made and follow up aggressively by utilizing a proper customer tracking system.
- Submit daily order to Sales Support to prepare sales order and delivery order for delivery; liaise with customer on delivery schedule if necessary.
- Perform effective market penetration by generating high number of inquiries from the market segment assigned and advise superior in due time of sales opportunities where special assistance is required to secure orders.
- Education Background: Bachelor Degree in Food Science or related science (Science background)
- Languages preference: English and Bahasa Indonesia (active)
- Years of Experience: Min 2 years working experience in B2B Selling in the Food Industry in Sumatra area, especially Medan.
