- Participating in development and execution of marketing strategies including brand positioning, communication strategies, advertising and consumer promotion initiatives. Direct agency partners as required to ensure effective and efficient translation of marketing strategies into activation plans
- Participating in development and execution of product and packaging innovation plans including concept development, feasibility validation, product and packaging R&D, business proposal and approval, project execution, customer sell in and tracking of in-market performance
- Monitoring performance measurements to ensure brand is tracking against goals. Recommends and implements corrective actions
- Analyzing data to identify insights and translate into business initiatives and/or actionable tasks to drive results
- Working hand-in-hand with the sales organization to understand and integrate customer strategies in business and brand plans.
- Managing monthly volume forecast for assigned brand/categories, coordinating between demand and supply planning to deliver best-in-class forecast accuracy
- Assisting in managing brand P&L, including spending for assigned project responsibility
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Ideally have 3 - 5 years experience in brand management and development
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit through creative problem solving, determination and resourcefulness
- Exposure and experience with managing a budget
- Knowledge of key retail customers is an asset
- Ideally would have experience in sport fashion and apparel product
- Quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to manage time and resources efficiently
- Demonstrated project management skills and a strategic outlook are required
- Ability to work in an environment of broad cross-functional interdependence with team members, outside suppliers and other key resources
