We are looking for Technical Support Engineers to provide enterprise level technical support to our customers via phone, web, email, chat or other support channel as required. This is a 3rd level deployment IT Software Engineer role and will work within our regional Client Support Hub and based in Jakarta.
- Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
- Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
- Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Document knowledge in the form of knowledge-based tech notes and articles
- Assist on-boarding of new merchants by checking programming code for integration, creation of merchant ID (MID)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- Proven working experience in enterprise technical support
- Shift work is required and there will be good allowances
- Familiar with PHP & Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge of additional programming language like Java
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linus systems, utilities and scripting
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent client-facing skills and communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is required
- Additional language skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai would be advantgeous
