APINDO, the Employers’ Association of Indonesia has a long history in providing services on industrial relations related issues to its members throughout Indonesia. Through all branches in provinces of Indonesia as well as in district and city level, APINDO keeps expanding its core competencies on industrial relations covering any business issues that affect company's performances, including on taxation, customs, infrastructure, energy, trade, and investment.
We are looking for candidates for a 3 - 4 months short term assignment to help APINDO in designing the strategic development of APINDO as an outstanding Employers’ Organization. The scope of the assignment would be the following:
  • Conducting interviews to APINDO Senior Board Members to learn the vision, mission and strategic guidance on the future development of APINDO
  • Conducting interviews to the Management and Staffs of APINDO Secretariat to identify the roles of the Secretariat in supporting the Board to achieve the organization goals
  • Reviewing the existing documents of APINDO and its management arrangement
  • Preparing a Blue Print of the long, medium and short term strategic development of APINDO
The above mentioned Blue Print should cover minimum the following issues :
  • Vision, Mission and Goals
  • Strategic Direction and selection of the Major Areas of Involvement
  • New Management Structure of both Board and Secretariat
  • The Strategy of the Human Capital Development of the Secretariat
  • Budgeting & Financing
  • Standards of Procedures (SoP)
The candidates should have the following requirements :
  • Minimum Bachelor degree ( S-1) in economics, management or social sciences with minimum 10 (ten) years working experiences with several years serving at a middle management position
  • Background in business or social organization would be an advantage
  • Independent with minimum supervision in achieving the goals 
  • Moderate command of English
