SR FINANCE & ACCOUNTING EXECUTIVE

Job Summary

This position is responsible to manage and provide necessary technical support, advice and take part in decision making for effective financial management of company.  Ensure the financial policies and procedures are implemented in a standardized and consistent manner. Manage accounting roles and process for typical electronics manufacturing and production company ie. Fixed asset, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Cash Management and all Tax aspects.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactive and deadline conscious
  • To develop and continuously improve ways of working in the accounting team members to provide accurate, timely and consistent information to all levels of management across the operations
  • To build strong relationship with banks and liaise for term loans and working capital funding at the competitive terms
  • To responsible for all local statutory requirements and liaison with local auditors for year-end purposes
  • To manage accounting team in order to ensure accurate recording of sales, purchases, cash transactions, fixed assets and journal entries, the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and coordination with holding company controller
  • To prepare of monthly financial packs including comparisons to budget, forecast and prior year together with narrative information for use by local and group teams
  • To work closely with both productions, operations and finance to support the reforecasting and semiannual and annual budgeting process
  • To manage bad debt customer aligned with sales operation and legal
  • To implement of cash management, including weekly reforecasts and liaison with Group Finance accordingly
  • Complies with government tax filing requirements by studying regulations adhering to requirements advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings
  • Examining financial records and statements to check for accuracy
  • Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances summarizing data, information, and trends.
  • Prepares state quarterly and annual statements by assembling data
  • Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data
  • Provides financial advice by studying operational issues applying financial principles and practices developing recommendations
  • Prepares special reports by studying variances  preparing budgets developing forecasts.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree from Accounting and preferably graduated from reputable accounting college from domestic or overseas
  • Minimum 30 years old
  • At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry, preferably from Livestock feed manufacturing company
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar managerial role
  • Languages and Communication Skills
  • Excellent in English both oral and written
  • Good in communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds
  • Good in write and extract reports and business correspondence
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from management, and employees

Computer Skills

  • Computer literate
  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific related software applications, including security reporting database software
  • Having worked in ERP environment is an added advantage

Other Skills/Experience

  • Proven leadership and management ability in the areas of strategic planning and organizational development
  • Good to work on own initiative, prioritize work, handle pressure and take day-to-day decisions on the running of the organization
  • Manage and lead team and provide clear directions/instructions
  • Provide stimulate cooperation within a team
  • Good to anticipate, identify and solve problem with team
