    Monroe Consulting Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading auto finance company. Our respected client is seeking an experienced tax and accounting professional for the job of Head of Tax. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
     
    Key job responsibilities include:
     
    • Manage the accounting and tax department and its day to day functions
    • Implement and improve the accounting and tax system and procedures
    • Ensure all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with company regulations and accounting principles
    • Provide on time monthly financial reports (GL, income statement & balance sheet)
    • Manage and ensure credit control, accounts payable and receivable; inventory and cost control; taxation; insurance; and budgeting and forecasting
    • Analyze the organization’s revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators for short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecasts
    • Analyze the company’s financial performance & financial audit
    • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop finance staff to ensure the company’s accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to the relevant regulations, laws, and standards
     
    Job Requirements
     
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, Master’s Degree is a plus
    • At least 5 years’ experience as accounting and tax manager
    • Detail oriented
    • Highly experienced in business, finance, and management
    • Able to work under pressure, self-motivated and hardworking
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Understanding accounting computer programs
    • Excellent understanding of tax regulations
