Provides guidance, involve and support to Champions and site team in the implementation of BEx Motivates and seeks to inspire change at all levels Supports the consolidation of change management processes and practices Work with site teams to identify improvement opportunities through the application of BEx. Tracking of both tangible and intangible benefits associated with the change process Leadership, Facilitation and Support: Assists to deploy experiences and learning’s and ensure they are shared across sites Closely monitors and reports on practice and performance progress at site meetings in weekly basis and monthly basis Supports and motivates implementation structures and personnel Training: Facilitate BEx training workshops, Supports internal trainers in the coordination and delivery of training activities, with an emphasis on ensuring alignment between implementation plans and training plans Provide on-going support to Implementation Task Forces. Communication: Provide BEx input as required for internal communications for key stakeholders, particularly in relation to key messaging, language and tone appropriateness and communication method/tools. Prepare reports and communicate updates as required on status, progress and outcomes in weekly and monthly basis. Purpose: To develop and implement procedures and programs to effectively manage site hazards, provide Health Safety & Quality assistance to WA sites (nominated by HSQ Manager) site managers, employees and contractors that improves safety and quality performance overall and strengthens the culture surrounding safety performance. Technical Competencies HSEQ or Engineering degree or 3 to 5 years experience in OHS & Q systems coordination Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring loss control activities at an operational level High degree of computer literacy in particular the application and use of the Microsoft Office suite and Lotus Notes Training Small Groups & Workplace Assessment Auditing accreditation MSA/ISO9000 Mining industry experience Senior First Aid Certificate Core Accountabilities - Essential Functions: Ensure compliance with applicable DN HSEQ Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations. Development and deployment of Quality Loss Control systems, procedures as directed by the HSEQ Specialist through: o Identification of and communication with stakeholders. o Development of solutions accommodating local needs and exposures that is consistent with the concept of standardization applicable to all Dyno Nobel operations. o Monitor the post implementation compliance to systems and provide guidance and support for correction. o Provide guidance to Operational Management on DN procedures, legislative requirements, problem solving techniques and loss control principles o Conduct MSA and Internal Quality Audits at operational sites as scheduled. o Monitor site based compliance to the HSEQ Performance Standards and provide pre-emptive communication to Operational Management prior to non-compliance occurring o Participate in site based activities when on site including meetings, Take 5!'s, Safe Act Observations, JSA's, HSEQ training and inspections as required Facilitate/participate in Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) Investigations of High Potential Near Miss and Incidents with Severity of 2 or above. Provide support to sites in maintaining Task Inventory. Undertake reviews of existing Quality Systems and make recommendations for improvement to the HSEQ Specialist. Facilitate appropriate training of managers and employees in understanding and maintaining the Quality Systems on site. Assist Manager in complying with Regulatory requirements. Assist Site to meet their customer requirement in providing safe and quality services and products by applying management systems (MSA/ISO 9000). Assist in the management of site assets to achieve optimal utilisation. Manage maintenance systems for all company assets to minimum company standards. Identify, recommend and implement initiatives to reduce overall cost of doing business. Eliminate all forms of waste from site operations included used drum. Identify and recommend Continuous Improvement projects that have financial benefits for both Dyno Nobel and our Customer. Assist with field trial of new products and services where required. Work closely with engineering to coordinate design, construction and commissioning of new equipment. Ensure all operational personnel are trained and skilled to perform assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Manage compliance to the OTS to ensure 100% compliance is achieved on an ongoing basis. Encourage subordinates to develop ideas for improvements in operating and equipment that may contribute to improve efficiency and safety, participate in testing and review of new ideas. Effective use the MHP process, using SMART goals, to extract employee and operational potential. Communicate improvements in equipment, procedures, systems and management to other business areas.
