They are currently searching for Cost Control Engineer   The Cost Control Engineer shall be responsible for responsible for Cost Control Services including but not limited to those of cost estimating, budget control, cost forecasting, cost reporting and cost risk analysis.   RESPONSIBILITIES To prepare budget for complete project in consultation with concerned departments and develop suitable formats for monitoring budget v/s actual expenditure; Setting up project(s) with Computerized Cost System upon agreed format; Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.  Generating weekly/ monthly MIS reports of Cost Control to present a clear status of budget v/s actual expenditures, variance and forecast of expenses. Producing regular cost reports and advising management of any forecast cost overruns as soon as possible to allow corrective actions to be taken in a timely manner Highlighting cost areas of concern and suggesting areas of improvement. Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.  Should have thorough knowledge and experience of preparing and monitoring the time schedule of project, using Prima Vera / MS-Project/ software tool. Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.  Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients  Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.  Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PMT team as and when required.  Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.
