The system developed aims to provide systematized and useful data related to sanitation development for decision makers at local level, as well as disaggregated sanitation data to provincial and national levels; Acticvely explore venues, design activities to ensure Nawasis develops into and is used at all levels as a true Decision Support System (DSS); Provide and implement recommendations on follow-up actions to improve Nawasis so that it provides systematized and useful data on progress towards provincial and national sanitation goals, based on the monitoring of city sanitation services across the country; Assist with the merger of the ppsp.nawawis, which was designed to monitor and evaluate progress of the national PPSP program focusing on sanitation development and the Nawasis module developed under Waspola that focuses on the development of water supply. This will be implemented under the auspice of Bappenas; The Nawasis Specialist shall pro-actively, and in consltation with the Prosdas promote the use of Nawasis as DSS, which will include direct training of Pokja members at local as well as provincial level Provide directions and supervise an assigned programmer charged with the development of new modules for Nawasis and/or the improvement of existing modules Take the lead, in collaboration with IUWASH + with the introduction of an App-based septic tank inventory tool at selected local governments, including assesemnt of hardware requirement, promotion and training of enumerators Contribute the the projects annual work plans and semi-annual progress reporting.
