He/she will consult with clients to establish plans for creating engaging content that will resonate with the media, influencers, and end users. With a goal of maximizing media pickup/coverage and influence end users to drive business results, the Content Strategist will create content by writing engaging stories and/or creating short videos. By using PR Newswire’s unparalleled media network and multimedia services capabilities, the Content Strategist will execute on our clients’ communications plans by pitching to relevant media and amplifying these results through multiple online, social, and outdoor channels. Primary Duties & Responsibilities After researching PR Newswire’s prospect and client communication activities, develop content ideas and conduct consultation sessions with clients along with Sales colleagues. Develop client PR campaigns organized in an editorial calendar with targeted content to improve brand awareness/positioning, share of voice, online discovery, and editorial pickup across clients’ target markets. Develop content strategies for clients. Write engaging stories and/or create multimedia assets to help clients achieve their business objectives. Along with PR Newswire’s audience development team, regularly engage with relevant media and influencers to establish and maintain good relations. Pitch client content to key media to maximize editorial pickup and amplify across channels. Coordinate and work across multiple departments for project execution (including Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Multimedia, and Audience Development teams) and regions based on client communication requirements (within Asia Pacific, North America and Europe). Create interim and annual analysis reports for clients showing results of media pickup, distribution and engagement metrics, and analyses/recommendations. Actively deepen client relationships to improve customer retention and engagement. Desired Skills and Experience Requirements University degree holder or above. Minimum 3 years of work experience in Public Relations (PR agency or in-house), Corporate Communications, or Media. Extensive content creation and writing experience. Journalism experience a plus. Multimedia creation experience is required – storyboarding experience and creation of photos/infographics/videos A firm understanding of Marketing and Communication strategies. Solid experience utilizing digital and offline marketing channels. Knowledge of the media landscape, established local media and influencer network a plus. Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills. Self-driven and customer focused. Fluent in written and spoken English. Cantonese and Mandarin a plus. DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN Primary Duties & Responsibilities To develop new business sales across marketing, corporate communications, public relations and/or investor relations segments over the telephone, via emails, and through face to face meetings To reach or exceed specific quarterly and annual targets by achieving pre-set criteria on revenue generated, with primary focus on outbound wire distribution, multimedia services and corporate workflow solutions To ensure that all clients are handled to the highest standards and everything is known about their corporate IR, PR and marketing communications requirements throughout the year To stay ahead of competition by following up on all leads and opportunities to ensure that PR Newswire maximizes the chance of winning business and by keeping regular contact with clients and prospects To provide regular (weekly, monthly and ad hoc) feedback of sales activities to the Supervisor, including clients wins/losses, competition activity, product feedback, etc. Requirements: Have 3-5 years of sales and/or new business development experience, preferably in the relevant industries such as corporate communications, marketing, public relations, investor relations, advertising and/or media sales; A solid track record of consistently delivering or exceeding sales targets and other relevant KPIs; High level of self-motivation, energy and accountability; ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced working environment; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; mature and engaging personalities; High fluency in spoken English as well as strong competency in written English is must. Good commands in spoken Mandarin is an advantage. Proficiency in Internet and PC software, esp. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; User knowledge and experience in CRM system is preferred. Ability to demonstrate conceptual selling and consultative approach to clients/prospects Ability to develop sales strategies and demonstrate strong territory management Strong organization skills.
